Wats this!? It actually means. . . Dance Party: Escape from Reality. The peackokz were supposed to perform for this event but thank God we didn't! it'll be awkward cause all the dance performances was either hip hop or break dancing. Gee. . . but Kourosh asked me to go with him anyways, and we went with few others.

It was kinda boring. . . Not many people came. . .probably about 100? so kou and i decided to snap snap picture to kill boredom. lalalalala

He pushed me up to the stage when the MC called for volunteers. >_< mana tau they ask us to dance pulak!! I hid behind Dorris' back when my turn came ='( sob. .
but eventually i did dance because one of the guys helped and he danced with me.
I got a louder cheers compared to the others though. .  lol. .
All of us left the hall early and went for supper. . yum . .  slurp. .  Pan cafe's laksa is yummy!!

8/09- munir's bday

Teddy's bday! We, ed board ppl made a surprise party for him @ secret recipe, pyramid. eat bigbig cake and we went exercising on ice! woohoooo!

Ice skating was fun. Im not that good, but at least i know how to move slowly.
Amar was awesome, he was very good for a first timer! a bit clumsy and almost fell down quite a few times but always tak jadi!! On the other hand, Khalid and Munir had a lil bit of trouble but they made alot improvement in the end. Munir and I made a deal that he would skate if i would tach him how to. So for about 2 hrs i was holding him while skating to support him. Not bad eh? never thought that i am that strong. Check my muscle!! lol

Chilling again!! This time with my cg friends and some cimpians. All together there were 8 of us and this time I drove!! =P It's funny when u see a gal driving with 3 guys inside the car. hahaha, u know who you are. .  IM DA MAN! woohoo!

The current of the river was stronger this time, probably because of the rainy season and as a result, we had quite a hard time crossing the rivers. . the water was extremely cold too. . Chris was like jumping from rocks to rocks just like spider man. . and whenever we were about to cross a river, he would just throw his bag to the other side. . damn ganas man. Zhiong fell alot of time and even Amir fell on his arse. . bedebuk!!! =P i myself got my right leg stuck between 2 big rocks, fell and almost got pulled by the current. 

Luckily Kourosh was there. . We would probably be lost sumwhere if i were to take the lead. XD As we reached the waterfall, me n kou were just couldn't wait to jump off the 3m high cliff. Zhiong and Amir also tried, but they had difficulties climbing =P  haha, let me dedicate this song for u guys ;P

11/09- Bye2 Sunny ='(

 Me, Kiwi, Za, Zhiyi went to pyramid to spend time some time with Sunny before he left to Seattle. Well, his flight was on the next day. I came later cause i had classes. sobz. . .
Sunny couldn't stay too long so i didnt get to spend much time with him either. We were at izone pramid most of the time watching sum guys dancing on that DDR machines, people ice skating and some dude drawing potrait of ppl. That is one awesome dude. His drawings are so good! wish i have his skills. hehehe. Sunny told me that i can start drawing people in anime style and i can make money =P

So. . as i went back home. . i thought of giving him something as a memory. . A drawing of him in vash of the stampede from trigun looks.

My internet connection went crazy. I couldnt even connect to the internet. sobz. .
needed to look for vash's pic.  . needed to send the pic online. . geee. . didnt have internet for a few days and after that i was too busy to draw.

12/09- kelly's bday

Well. .  The plan went like this: We got Amir to ask her out on a date while the rest of us hid at the side gate parking lot and prepared ourselves to attack her. hmmm. . . but she was taking so long to go down cause she took a shower 1st!! we just looked at each other and felt so guilty at the same time >____< but the plan had to go on. muahahaha

"i would like to order one large hawaiian pizza please. . . deliver it to the sunway college football field, thank youuuuu" The fella on the phone probably thought it was a prank XD We light up candles around us and just ate the American choc cake i bought.

14/09- dinner @ zen                                                                     

Ada gerangan apa dengan si kuman ngajak2 dinner ya? haha, trims. . had a great time. Makan makanan mentah di zen. lalala. laen kali aku yang traktir k!

15/09- netball competition  & a visit from a dear friend                 

Pei Wen asked me to join her netball team like a few days before the competition. I did not know who are my teammates. . . until on thu when we started practising together. and so, thu was a just a day be4 the competition =) Most of them are from MUFY btw. haha, we were trying to decide which position is most suitable for each and every player. Pei Wen was like "Nis! u play GA or GD".

GA- Gol assistant where u have to assist the shooter
GD- Gol defender, the one who blocks GA

wat the. . they're totally opposite. lol

In the end I played GK or switched to GD sumtimes. haha, i wasn't feeling very well that day n i didn't want to move around so much. Thats why i purposely chose the GK position =P

On the day of the competition;

There were 6 teams all together. TakTahu, Destiny, BlackForest, MVP, HappyFeet and BANANAs. Which team m i in? guess =P

I cant remember the scores and all, but we were beaten kao kao by destiny. We call them the sailor moon team. On the other hand, Taktahu is the staff team and there were MUFY lecturers too. Student versus their lect. when our team won against theirs, one of the lecturers said "i know what to do with u guys!!!" i simply answered "what CAN u do to me? =P"

After all that, we actually managed to get 3rd!! =') bronze medal, yippe!!

Bryan came to my house to visit after the netball competition ended about 10.30pm.  We spent quite a while chit chatting and he was checking out my sister's action figure collections. If only i could show him the cloud on the bike figure. . . . . one day k!!

hmmm. .  he also passed me my veryyyy belated bday peresent? after how many months ar? lol. Thanx. . i really like it. .!

Well, it is all worth it since we've got quite a number of invitations to perform this dance again.

Man. . . even though im indon but there i was celebrating Malaysian Independence day. lol. The funny thing is that i know more merdeka songs than my Malaysian friends do. Not only knowing them but i even know how to sing them. Hehe, come to think of it, it's been 8 yrs already since the 1st day i came to Malaysia, around august 1998. Time flies so fast 0.o

Anyways, the countdown was fun. There were quite a number of performances; Dikir barat, tarian silat, bollywood dance, choir, a cappella, and peacock. Not sure if i missed any XD. Some Malaysian band (can't remember the name) and Ferhad were also there.

Sadly, that the crowd wasn't very supportive. They did not respond actively and sounded very dead. Not all i mean but most of them. sigh. . . After our performance Shelfia and i joined Kourosh, Kelly, Wai chien in the crowd. As usual, we were just so crazy to shout each other's name and i could see other people just stared at us. 

Guess what. .  Kourosh went up on the stage and sang "i like to move it" song XD
And the crowd actually joined in and shouted MOVE IT at the end. lol. but poor kou!! the MC made fun of him and asked him to say some Malay words. He's so mean!! He made Kou said " Saya suka pakai baju perempuan". . swt. .

Student vs lecturer in sports!

One of the most anticipated events of the semester in CIMP as you get to see the lecturers in action! Last sem was volleyball and this time the student council organized a basketball competition instead. As usual, the winner get to play with the lecturers. 

We, eddy board people were assigned to take pics. Im not that good in taking sports pics though. .  but hey!!  Mr. Tan let me play with his D70!!!! XD

It's so fun =9 the speed is so much faster than compact. . DUH. . .
waaawaaaaa....  I don't know how the pics i took with the D70 turned out but Mr. Tan said i failed. lol. He said he's not going to let me play again next time!!! huaaaaa. sobz. i should have leave a mark on his D70 >=P

Dear Advanced Functions and Introductory Calculus Students: 

I am the president of a discount computer game company. Our sales have been suffering for the last year because our average production cost has risen to 9.60 RM per game, exceeding our sales price of 9.40 RM each. We currently sell 1000 units per day. In addition to losing money, we are in some other serious trouble because our financial controller took a job with a competitor, and subsequently all our cost-accounting records mysteriously disappeared.

About a month before the controller left, he proposed that we could get "out of the red" by dropping our price to 7.90 RM per game. He indicated that by dropping our price, we would be able to secure additional customers that would result in sales increasing to 2000 units per day. In turn, he said, we would start garnering profits of 200 RM per day at the 2000 unit sales level. Of course I immediately dismissed his idea because the 7.90 RM price is 1.70 RM less than our average production cost. To me it seemed obvious that this price decrease would only exacerbate our losses. In hindsight, however, I am wondering if maybe our controller was right after all. That is why I am bringing your team into the picture.

I need your expertise in advanced functions and calculus to determine, first, if we can make a profit of 200 RM per day with a 7.90 RM price and sales of 2000 units per day, and second, what the optimum production level would be at the 7.90 RM price. The only cost-accounting information that I can share with you is that our variable costs depend solely on the square of the number of games made. I do not know what our fixed costs are. I would appreciate it if all of your calculations for cost, revenue and profit were kept on a per-day basis as that is what I am used to working with.

Please prepare a 10 minute presentation and short 1-2 page summary report that explains all your work as you:

a. determine the cost structure (fixed and variable costs) for manufacturing games;

b. confirm or deny that it is possible to have a profit of 200 RM per day at the 7.90 RM price and 2000 unit sales level;

c. determine the optimum level of production/sales at the 7.90 RM price; and

d. describe how it is possible that dropping the price below the current average price can increase the profits of my company.
